The Funky Pita

We have been getting Funky for a long time! The Funky Pita was born out of our passion for food and music. Years ago we wanted to follow our favorite band, Phish, around the country. In order to fund our travels, we were vendors in the lot feeding the hungry crowds before and after the shows. Our little food stand became an instant success. We realized our Funky Pitas were a crowd favorite! We branched out, grew our stand, and for years served our pitas at festivals and events around the country. In 2021, after a brief pause based on the global pandemic, we decided it was time to bring the Funk up to the next level! We created the Funk Mobile so that we could have even more opportunities to share our passion for pitas with more people! As the owners of The Funky Pita, we often are asked, “what makes your pitas so Funky”? Is it because they are super freaky? Is it because they do the jungle boogie? Is it because they deliver the whole funk and nothing but the funk? Well, all these answers may be correct; but the actual reason is that we use fresh, high quality ingredients that will make your taste buds get up and dance! We believe we are in one nation under a groove, and our goal is for you to declare that this Funk is the best! We look forward to getting Funky with you soon!
